The reporter has good contacts in Chemnitz as a result of a business connection over many years. He advises that the synagogue there has burned down and the chairman of the community arrested. His name is Alfred Kahn. Whether he has been released is uncertain. Further arrests have also been made. The rabbi was arrested and apparently mistreated. His name is Dr. Fuchs. He is said to have been in the police hospital until very recently. The reporter states that he knows from a reliable sources that Herr Grünberg, former employee of the Unita Hosiery Factory is dead, likewise Herr Fürstenberg of Tietz AG.
