The main priority and crucial is that the prisoners in Dachau concentration camp be helped. Above all what is missing here is woollen underclothing. Therefore it is essential that underclothing is supplied to the people in the camp through any aid organisation. It would be possible for the camp authorities to provide the prisoners with underwear, equally to sell it in the canteen where everything else is to be had. It can be assumed that underclothing is thus only not sold in order that the people freeze and become ill. It would of course be a trifle for the prisoners to purchase underwear because they receive RM 15.- per week paid out from their money, and can therefore puchase the essentials. If they do not receive warm underclothing, then one after the other will fall ill either through the cold or possibly rain. The consequences of that are ghastly, because nobody will report to the Revier (sickroom) since the treatment there is terrifying. Thus the first and most important task, provided that the Schutzhäftlinge do not obtain their freedom, is at least to take care of warm underwear for them.
I am now one of the few of those favoured by God who have escaped from this hell, and know that the most important task of all is to help the camp people. The children and women will not suffer as long as there are Jews in Germany. But the misery for these children and women will first begin when the breadwinner returns ill from the camp or even dies. All camp people have learnt that they can survive through their manual labour. Moreover the 90% of Christians who are well disposed will certainly not let any Jewish child or Jewish woman starve.
