A Dutchman who lived in Osnabrück for many years and fled during the recent disturbances reported to us:
At the end in O. there were still c. 150 Jewish inhabitants. All men were arrested apart from three under 60 and six over 60 years of age. All Jewish shops were destroyed. The property was confiscated. The synagogue was burned down. All the women are free.
